Gail Steinberg

Gail Steinberg is the owner and creative director of Gail Steinberg Design. Her artistic journey began when as a young girl she chose crayons over dolls. In high school, Gail excelled in honors art and enriched her passion by taking adult art classes. After a four years at the University of Michigan where she graduated with a bachelors in political science, art beckoned. Gail's next stop was Parsons School of Design, where she graduated with a bachelors in graphic design. While studying at Parsons Gail interned at USA Today and Rolling Stone magazine. Upon graduation, Gail was hired by Viking/Penguin to design book covers. While working at Viking/Penguin she taught book cover design at her alma mater. After six years, a promotion to art director and hundreds of book covers under her belt . . . her twin boys were born! Flash forward 7 years  . . . having left NYC and the publishing world, Gail found an outlet for her talents at a local invitation company. Yearning for her own business, a few years later Gail ventured out onto her own to form Gail Steinberg Design.
